I have a 1995 MUSTANG GTS and i have had a problem with the oil spraying out of the top of the dip-stick since day one. I pulled out the PCV valve and Filter and put new ones in, but my problem still persists when i lay down on the loud pedal. Everytime i hit the loud pedal, oil squirts from the top of the dip-stick onto my headers and valve covers. I have heard putting a breather cap on the driver's side valve cover could solve this problem. Is this true or does anyone else have any other suggestions to solve my problem.

Make sure the o-ring at the top of the dipstick is sealing correctly in the dipstick tube. When you push the dipsitck in and pull it out, you should be able to feel the o-ring snap into place. If everything checks out on that end, try installing a breather filter in the valve cover. Let us know what happens.

I had a similar problem in my '91 LX. I put on the breather and it went away, but who knows, maybe it was something else.
