My friend just got an '03 Cobra. So far she's got an off road X-pipe (2 1/2"), two chamber Flomasters, Steeda cold air kit (if you can call it that), and a MIL chip. She's at a loss as to what to do next. Simple to me, MORE BOOST! She's worried about hurting it though, so she's iffy on that. She's afraid 4.10's or 3.73's will be bad on the street, so that's up in the air, too. It's not a drag car, so basically, what would be some good mod.'s for better performance, but not looking to get every last drop of H.P.? Also, I'm going to get her to register here herself. She's also got an '02 F-250 4x4 off road, lifted 6 inches with, I think, 33 inch tires. She also owned a '98 GT, and a '99 Cobra. Bad ass, huh?:D

I would think a different blower pulley and a chip would be the way to go. Contact Don at Modular Madness in NC. He sells different packages or individual parts and can burn you a chip and ship it to you. I have talked to him a couple of times and he's got his game together on the mod motors.

You may want to check, but I beleive the 03 Cobra comes standard with 3.73 gears.

Pretty sure they come with 3.55's, but to tell you the truth, I don't know.

Shibby, how do you like the MAC cat back? I was thinking of switching out my flows and getting the flowpaths.

I gotten a number of compliments on my Mac cat-back setup. It has a really nice tone and texture to the exhaust. It's not too big and overpowering loud like the Flowmasters. There also a breze to put on.

I am very pleased with the MAC cat back system. It sounds great(better than skooter's), it fit well, it has held up under weather and road conditions, and is priced competitively. I have no complaints.

I had Mac on my cobra for a few years and I didn't like the sound all to much. I am more of a flowmaster person. I guess I like the loud deep rumble.
