these wheel ideas.
Regardless of HOW they look, I AM going to go with 00 R wheels. I want the clearance for the 13in brakes that will go on in year three and 9.5 meat is good to. I DONT like polished or painted wheels. To me, wheels SHOULD be chrome. However, I saw a GT with blacked out Rs. It was freakin tough looking. Now, the choice is, do I powder coat, or just do my tried and true Krylon? That saves a LOT of money and I can easily repaint for touch up. Second thing, doing black out means I can get the cheaper painted rims instead of chrome. HOWEVER, I think what would look BEST is a black spoke center with a chrome rim edge. I wouldnt save any money and thats an expensive way to get a shiny rim lip, but I think it would look THE best by far. I could do the Krylon thing and that would allow me to strip and go back to chrome if I wanted to upgrade to other rims and trade or if I just got tired of the black treatment.
