Will the 5.0 ever come back?

I would love to see a 5.0 ,but I am not sure they will ever come back with it. What do you guys think. Have you heard or read anything about it.

Weren't there rumors floating around that Ford was going to reintroduce a BOSS 302 with a modular 5.0? Or possibly put it into a truck?:confused:

It would fit in with the retro line of Mustangs.

one of the new mustang mags showed how they are now offering a packer for the mod engine to get up to 5.0 but then again....there is no pushrods:(

i too would love to see the 5.o's come back, but i dont think that will be happening. With all the new technology ford will just keep advancing and forget the past.

I think it will come back but in modular form. It'll probably be a Cobra or something just so they can say it came back.

They are still producing 5.0 blocks. I believe that they will be back. I agree it will be in a cobra or maybe an "R" then possibly into production later in the years
