Hi
I am new to this board because I just bought a 1992 Gt with a 5 speed. I was just woundering what are some good mods or tricks for some performance. I dont want to go to far in mods because I bought this for a daily driver. The car only has 85,000 miles on it and is stock. I have already done a tune up on it so I have it running like new. I just want to make it different then a stock 5.0.
I also have aa set of headers, off road x pipe and flowmaster exhaust for it.

Underdrives & a K&N are a cheap & easy mod. And one of the best bang for the buck mods that you do is get some 355 or 373 gears put in.

I was thinking of underdrive pullys and gears. Do you know what they come with stock. The gears in it seam weak. I have 373 in my Iroc and crusing in od I run like 75 mph I hit like 2600 rpms Where as my mustang does the same speed at 2000

You probably have 3.08 or 2.73 gear ratio.

I love my 3.73's they are absolutely the best bang for the buck that you can put on a mustang.
