Not sure if anyone here knows about it or not, but Carrol Shelby is working with Ford on a new Shelby Cobra for 2004. It has a 6.4L V10 pushing 605HP@6750RPM, and 501FT.LBS@5500 RPM. This is the same motor that is in a completed prototype Mustang Cobra that SVT is possibly putting into the next generation Cobra according to Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords Magazine! Thought it might be interesting to ya!

--The following is a quote from the text link above:
"The rear-mounted six-speed transaxle is identical to the high-performance unit in the Ford GT, with an integral limited-slip differential to drive the rear wheels. Based on the engine?s 7,500-rpm redline and the drive ratios, this Ford Shelby Cobra concept has a theoretical top speed of more than 260 mph and would break 130 mph in third gear, although it?s electronically limited to 100 mph ? for now."
