Has anybody ever changed an old six cylinder mustang to a 302 or 351 and if so, what all was involved in the process and how much did it cost.

ive got a 98 mustang with a v-6 in it. in may of this yearim putting in a 5.0 ill be able to tell you more after that. a short list of the things i can think of; motor, tranny, motor mounts, bigger radiator, new front springs, new computer (im gettin around this by going carbourated), new rear gears. like i said though ill be able to tell you more in may. good luck with it all
It's easier in the older stangs but you'll also have to update alot about the car.
How did the 5.0 swap go?

waazzzup! eh ... i couldnt get the swap done. my leave got cut short so i couldnt get the time to put it in. i did however find some useful info. if you have an AOD tranny i was told that i "cant use it you dumbass" by the ford house. however if you need to in a jam you can just keep the comp in the car and just run power to it and you should be fine. uhhhh .... yeah all i needed to do was get the motor, mounts, intake, carb, distributor, water pump, blah blah blah, and it will be done.
