Loaded up and went to Ennis on Sunday. Very few cars were out there and you could pretty much run at will. I finally got some times for my 01 in the 1/4 mile:
60ft - 1.719
330ft - 5.337
1/8th - 8.367 @ 81.29 mph
1/4th - 13.229 @ 101.83

Made only 2 runs and this was my best. Very pleased, but want to be in 12's. I figure with some weight reduction, I should be there before I get the heads and cams. I have both runs on video which can be seen at the following link, at the bottom of the page.

Great time Jeff! I can't view the video at work, but I can't wait to see it at home.

Just got finished with DS safety loop tonight. Going to leave the passenger seat out and having long tubes installed this week. Look me up at Ennis this weekend. We will be there all 3 days and I will run the Mod Motor class.

I'm not sure what the plans are but I won't be out until Sunday because I am working Saturday. I don't know what Rigney and Skooter's plans are. We will definitely come find you though. We might need to get some pictures of you with your trophy.:D

"TROPHY"?? Mod Motor pays out $6K to the winner :D . Now, being realistic, if your not there for the first round of eliminations on Sunday then you may miss me running all together. Mod Class has some very good drivers that follow FFW around. Not that I am sorry, but these guys and girls can afford to spend all their time at the track. I guess that is what sponsorship gets you.

I think I jinx myself :( . I made some decent practice runs on Friday and Saturday, but my reaction times sucked on the pro tree. Lined up for the first round of eleminations and cut a .009 light. I knew I hit the light good and was feeling confident until................I missed 3rd gear!!! RACE OVER. Oh well, still had a blast and looking forward to running at least 3 events next year.

I think we've all done that one. Rigney has been known for missing first gear, so hey.:p
