What do you think I should use? I just bought me a used Lx coupe 5.0 and the paint is real nice and shiny and I would like to keep it that way. My friends all have swirl marks because they use towels and what not. I hear leather shammys work the best but I'm not sure.

Tell me what works.

Try "the absorber" . U can find it at your local automotive store(ie.Pep Boys, Autozone) It comes in different colors and sizes, and in its own reusable container which helps keep it moist(U actually use it damp). Seems to work well . I just used mine for the first time this weekend on my winter vehicle. Make sure U clean the car well, I rushed and it left dirt on "the absorber". Good Luck !

I second the absorber!

Works good and you can wash it too...

The california water blade works good for the long straight surfaces like the hood, windows, trunk and sides of the car. A shammy works good for other places that are hard to get into ;)

Trick, I was just wondering if U have had any probs with scratches. I have seen the Cali water blade advertised, never used one though. Although I haven't seen an ad in awhile either. Always wondered about them being to stiff or hard. Thanx..

Leather chamois here. Have tried the synthetic towels before and always turn back to leather.

.......I use the California Water Blade with no problems.....My brother recommended it.......He has a pristine '97 Mystic. For surfaces other than flat, you can ,with experience, form the blade with your fingers. We finish with terry cloth as well. A chamois has the ability to strip wax from the car's finish.:D

I agree with whoever said the absorber. I use it and it has worked great for me.

I allways use a Chamois, the absorber sucks IMO.

I'm curious to know what 88chris does not like about the Super Absorber. I know different strokes for different folks. Just curious to hear his opinion.:)

The Absorber streaks much easier than a chamois does I think. I have never liked them but I have not used one in a few years so they may have improved them since then but I will allways use a chamois anyways.
