Finally got it.....

After 9 months, I finally got the 88 back. Fire damage was worse than we thought and cost more to repair, so it looks like I will be doing most of the body work. Oh well, gives me something to do this winter.
Also, do you three plan on visiting a track this winter? Denton is open on Saturday afternoons!! (hint)

Yeah, I know we've been slacking on getting to the track. Jeff, if you are going to do the body work yourself then let me know what you will need. My store sells auto refinishing products and I can get you any primer, basecoat, clearcoat, filler, paper, whatever. We mix automotive finishes from scratch so, holla! Glad you got the car back though. I've been wondering where you have been.

We will probably start the process after Christmas, so you will be hearing from me. I am going to use as much fiberglass as I can to cut down on weight and the 5.0 that is in it will more than likely come out for a larger engine.
When you all decide to hit a track, let me know. I would sure like to line up next to you and show you what the 01 can do :D .

We had a carb back fire that caught the fiberglass hood on fire and sort of toasted the engine compartment.
