I wonder how this will turn out. I bet the guy will get a bunch of money and it will go away, but who knows.

He will get some cash to go away to his little hole.
It is kinda ****ty that the guy told ford about his invention and then ford went ahead and made it.

Fact of the matter is, even if there is a small change in the process that creates this effect; Ford is not liable for anything
This type of thing happens all the time, especially in the computer industry.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Ford is right, but if the process is not exactly the same: OH WELL!
Also a thought: If he was stupid enough to tell the automakers exactly how to do this, shame on him.
It would prove that you can be brilliant, and not have any common sense.

I gave this issue some thought and realized that though it would have been nice to have the ability to change the dash on my 05, it would have been more of a distraction for me later on as I would have wanted to adjust colors likely every other day.
I like the soft green that is standard sort of the retro color from the sixties, and of course I like the feature when you drive through a darkened area without headlights that the whole dash and the surround area of the ****pit area lights up automaticly so you can see all the buttons.
Only down side of the MyColor I can see is when the system gets older the possibilty of loosing one of the color LEDS would take away the ability of the owner to modify the color scheme.
