Does anyone know what the 2005 Saleen is going for? Just wanted to know if it was worth the addedd $$ and what the noticeble differences are between it and the GT. Performance? Is there any driver and/or passenger legroom difference in the 2005 Saleen vs the 2005 GT? Or is there more legroom in the 2005 GT than in previous year GT's? I'm 6' and in the past wasn't fond of the legroom offered in the GT's but I love the look of the 2005 GT so much I want one so badly.

The Saleen's, are going for the proverbial arm and legs.

Estimated stickers are around $55,000.

There is also a current shortage of the 2005 Mustang GT's.

During a meeting of a Mustang Club that I am with, the dealer that we hold our meeting at advised that the production of the GT will resume in April or May which coinsides with the introduction of the convertaible GT.

The lots are full of 05 V6's in the Atlanta area but virtually all GT's have been sold.

A local Atlanta Ford Dealer is BUYING every remaining GT that is being offered on Ebay. The prices that have been bid have already exceed my purchase price of my GT. (I got lucky and got it in December.)

Expect extra serious premium purchase price on any GT or varient thereof Saleen or otherwise.

I have seen a 05 advertised as the "Bullett" edition on Ebay, kinda funky looking a little bit lower front and different style front end. Asking price is in the low 40's.

Already slightly used 05 GT's are on Ebay as well. I did a general Internet Search and that was where I got the only hit on used 05 GT's

I think the costs for the Saleens are what the markets will bear in various regions.

I noted that the Ebay auction for a Saleen dropped way down in price, either from someone realizing that they could not get the asking price or some at Ford is closely watching the Ebay sales and telling the dealers to stop messing around.
