I just picked up my 2005 gt last night, black on black. unbeleiveable ride quality and handling need to break it in before i test the hp. I was wondering can anyone tell me if there is a way to tell what my production # is? what i mean is I know its not the first one made but can i tell by looking at the vin# if it is the 1000th , 2000th or 2835th? i hope thats clear.

I don't think there is, the vins from what I have been told just keep going from the previous year. You could have a 2004 mustang vin just before the 2005 mustang vin. So you would never be able to tell.

You would have to know the vin of the first '05 to be produced
