It is cool that he let you out of it. Is the speedo actually that hard to see?

Its maked every 5mph and the needle is about 2.5 mph thick. at best you can get it within 3-5 . Yeah its hard but 82 probably was just under 80. but since the speed had dropped to 65. I should have been able to tell :-}

The buttons on the spokes of the steering wheel are not for show. Because I work for a police department, the troops have gotten a very good look at the speedo in the 05 GT that I own as have several local county officers.

Better watch out using that excuse next time...

You right. But even if i had used the little buttons i still would have to have been paying attention when the speed limit dropped 10 mph. That was my original problem. Not having a ticket ever and having driven for 25 years may have helped. That time.

I do wish ford would have given us a digital read out . they show avg mph. I guess you just need to reset that a few times and use thoes little buttons on the wheel. and of course whatch thoes little white signs on the side of the road. If you LOOK at it its fine . if you glance at it you could be 5 or so off.. Again not my problem just my excuse :-}. I got lucky if WY sold lottery tickets I would have bought one.
I didnt make the same mistake on my way back to CO.
