saleen questions

Does anyone know where I can locate a saleen dealer? Ive been searching for awhile now on the internet and havent found an online dealer quoting a price. Any tips on buying one of these? Where to order? I apologize for the general questions but I'm a total noob to the mustang, let alone the ford world. Also, would anyone know how to find the factory cost of the 2005 saleen mustangs?

Im curious also about the manufacture of the saleen mustangs. Are they built in the ford factory or are the saleens produced elsewhere. Thanks in advance!

The Saleen's are sold through regular Ford Dealers.

You will have to likely call around to see if they have a Saleen unit.

Do note the dealer that has them will be a high volumn and will be likely asking a pretty penny.

Since you did not advise where you were at, I know of two local dealers in Georgia with Saleens. You just have to go hunt them down. The cars are not part of the Ford inventory web site since they are speciality vehicles.

It brings up the Saleen homepage of the manufacture.

On their site they in fact have a dealer locator.

Just input your zip code and state and you should be able to locate dealers very local to you.

I Just saw a Saleen at a dealership called Santa Maria Ford in Santa Maria, Ca. Come on down, buy the Saleen and go watch the Michael Jackson case at the courthouse.

They were asking 43,650. Thats a lot of extra cash for 25 more horsepower.

I agree with twoscoops........not worth it. I'd rather have the GT, put a supercharger on it for 4 grand and hunt down Saleens! They changed the way that the guages look, removed the fog lights, changed the seats, swaped the rims out(for bigger ones that rob horsepower) and put a thirteen thousand dollar over MSRP sticker on it! I could have done the work myself for half that!

But I guess all in all it still looks damn good!
