I've noticed that if I run 55-65 mph, that is when I get the best gas mileage out of my 05, GT stang. But there are places around here that the legal speed limit is 70mph. 70 or higher seems to drop the gas mileage. Is there anyway I can re-calibrate the computer to acknowledge the fact that 70 or higher is better gas mileage? Any one have any ideas?

You have to remember that the faster you go, the more fuel you may use. It is likely the motors are comfy at 55-65 MPH anyway.

Just go for a bike ride. 20 miles per hour vs 25 mph requires almost twice as much power. 50 to 70 mph probably gets at least 25 % less MPG.
I get 29 at 55 in 5th did for about 50 miles. Best at 75 is 25 typically 23.
I was driving in WY a few weeks back when I ran into a 40 MPH head wind millage dropped for 25 to 21 same speed same hy.
