Turbomustangs.com Shootout

I dont know about anyone else, but our track has shut down for the winter and this looks like an exciting event.

I had a regular come in the other day and say he went to Kennedale Sunday night and I didn't even know they ran on Sunday's. He was more impressed with the track condition than Rigney and I were the last time we went, but he was also smoking the hell out of his Nitto NT-555 Extreme's. I'm trying to get him to join the site. He has an '02 Mineral Grey GT with full exhaust, long tube headers, cold air, mass air, bigger injectors, etc. Said he ran 8.60's on the drag radials. I don't believe times unless I see time slips or the flashing lights on the board, but he seems to not be a bull****ter and a pretty cool guy at that. We'll see.

I would'nt doubt the 8.60 on Drag Radials. I have yanked the nitrous off my 01 (which I had a best of 8.82) and am now running 8.77 on 17" Drag Radials (I have the time slip). Hopefully in the future I can bring that down even further.
So what do think about this event? Anyone going to try and make it?
