What you are looking at could be the latest and greatest from the engineers at SVT if the rumors are true. Car and Driver has drawn up a rendering of what they think the 2016 Shelby GT350 will look like. This vehicle if made will be the successor to the ever popular track beast that is the Boss 302. It may have the Shelby moniker but Ford is rumored to be building the entire vehicle in house.

According to Car and Driver the Shelby GT350 could use a version of the 5.0-liter V-8 which will power the 2015 Mustang GT. Don’t expect Shelby GT500 horsepower numbers or a supercharger but Ford has been known to tweak their engines to increase horsepower. … Continue Reading

It will be a drive to remember as Mustangs Across America gears up for the largest Mustang road trip ever planned. After a successful drifting campaign in China, Vaughn Gittin Jr. brings his talent back home to the states to kick off the 2014 Formula DRIFT Pro Championship this weekend in Long Beach, California. Last year Vaughn finished a disappointing 5th but hopes to improve upon it this year to bring home his second Formula D championship.

Last week at the North Star Dragway in Denton, Texas a Turbo Fox-Body Mustang crashed hard into and over the metal guardrail. The Turbo Mustang was destroyed in the process due to an unknown issue steering the Mustang toward the wall. Mustang sales reached their highest monthly total since June of 2012. American Muscle brings back Bolt-On Buildup for 2007-09 Shelby GT500

American Muscle’s bolt-on project build is back again after a successful build the first time round with the 2010-14 Mustang V6. For the encore bolt-on build AM has stepped it up by modifying a 2008 Shelby GT500 with various bolt-on’s to increase horsepower and torque.

As with all of their project builds American Muscle ran a baseline dyno test with the Shelby GT500 putting down 434 horsepower and 432 lb-ft of torque.
