Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s Carbon Fiber RTR-C Mustang at SEMA
One of the more impressive Mustangs at this years SEMA show was drift racer Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s all-carbon fiber RTR-C Mustang. The carbon fiber body panels on the 2010 Mustang GT were the real thing as I got an up close and personal look at them. Every square inch of the exterior of the RTR-C Mustang was covered with carbon fiber and even the Sparco seats on the inside were made of carbon fiber. Replacing the body panels with carbon fiber shed about 400-500 pounds off the Mustang. Some weight was added back with the addition of the supercharger, brake kit and headers.
