Meh might not be the right word but when the June Ford Mustang sales were revealed this is what came to mind. A shrug of the shoulders and a tightening of the lips as I look downward was my reaction and its not bad but its also not great. I was not expecting to be dazzled by some gaudy numbers as Mustang sales for June were off sharply from May numbers and its ok because the 2015 Mustang is lurking.

The all-new 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible

Debuting on the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang will be further enhancements to the already ingenious SYNC 911 Assist which is found in more than 7 million Ford vehicles. The SYNC 911 Assist allows the vehicle to connect to a local 911 operator if there has been an airbag deployment or fuel shut off. The system only works if a Bluetooth connected mobile phone is being used. Three iconic Mustang legends were recreated as 2015 Mustang concepts by the folks over at They chose to render the Bullitt Mustang, Eleanor from the movie Gone in 60 Seconds and the coachbuilt Iacocca Mustang. All three 2015 Mustang concepts look amazing and I am sure any Mustang enthusiast would be excited to drive them, now if we can only get Ford to produce them.

Its the first ever glovebox knee airbag and Ford Motor Company has developed it for the 2015 Ford Mustang. Did you ever think those words would be in the same sentence. These types of innovations are usually dreamed up and made possible by the uber luxury brands like Rolls Royce or Bentley but not this time as Ford beat them all to the market. Last weekend at the 40th annual mid-america Ford and Shelby nationals event in Tulsa, Oklahoma two of the original three Shelby GT350 prototypes were back together again. Both vehicles share consecutive serial numbers (SFM5R002, SFM5S003) and both were restored to their original conditions.

The 2015 Ford Mustang will feature an all-new innovative airbag restraint design to provide front seat passengers with knee airbag protection. The new airbag will be packaged inside the glove box and hidden away from view only to be used in a crash situation.
