Shelby GT500 and Mustang GT Pace Cars at Talladega Superspeedway

This past weekend the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250 and the Aaron’s 499 NASCAR races were run at Talladega Superspeedway with two Ford Mustang’s serving as the pace cars.  A 2013 Grabber Blue Shelby GT500 with white LeMans stripes and a 2013 Ruby Red Mustang GT were in charge of leading the field around the track for both races.

Piloting the Ruby Red Mustang GT for the Aaron’s 499 was Alabama Quarterback AJ McCarron who is practically royalty after winning two National Championships for Alabama. … Continue Reading

When its all said and done the 2015 Mustang will be the most rendered car in history due to a few reasons.  First of those is the technology and software available to create such renderings which has grown exponentially over the past decade.  The other is the fan base which as most of you know is rather large for the Ford Mustang as it spans millions of enthusiasts world wide who are hungry for news about the next generation Mustang.

It’s finally here, the 2014 Ford Mustang brochure has been released in all its glory with 23 pages of drool worthy reading material.  The only changes for the 2014 Mustang include the addition of two new colors (Oxford White and Ruby Red Metallic) and two new optional appearance packages, the FP6 and FP8.  These two new packages feature painted body pieces and 18 or 19-inch wheels.  The only addition for the 2014 Shelby GT500 is heated seats are now standard.  Keep reading to view screenshots or download the brochure in .PDF form. 1 millionth Mustang Celebration at Flat Rock Assembly Plant

The Ford Mustang reached its 49th Birthday this week after its 1964 debut at the New York Auto Show.  The Ford Mustang was an instant hit with the public as they went crazy for the new sports car coupe.  This week also marks another milestone for the Mustang as it celebrates the One Millionth Mustang built at Ford’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant since production moved there in 2004.

Ford is celebrating this milestone as year 50 of continuous Mustang production gets under way at Flat Rock Assembly.  2014 Mustangs are currently in the build cycle through the end of the year until plans for the all-new redesigned 2015 Mustang hits the market.
