November 2014 Ford Mustang Sales released, best Nov. since 2006

The future is looking promising for the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang as it propelled Mustang sales for November to their best mark since Nov. of 2006. Texas and California markets saw the most growth as they were up 46% and 76% respectively. Not surprising given they are two of the most populous states and the weather is favorable year round. Expect sales to climb even higher next month as Ford fills orders for the all-new pony.

2015 Ford Mustang convertible built atop Burj Khalifa in Dubai

The photo above depicts Bill Ford, Executive Chairman of FoMoCo next to a 2015 Mustang convertible sitting atop the 112th floor of the World’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa in Dubai. This 2015 Mustang convertible was assembled in pieces by a group of Ford engineers. The same Mustang was built on top of the Empire State Building in New York City.

Sales of the Ford Mustang for October of 2014 were 4,565 compared to 6,918 from October of 2013 showing a 34% decrease in sales from the previous year. Year to date Mustang sales are 64,396 compared to 66,083 for 2013, which is a 2.6% decrease from the previous year.

Month to Month sales were up as September 2014 sales were 3,158 compared to October 2014 sales of 4,565 which is a 45% increase. … Continue Reading

August Ford Mustang sales numbers were released and to nobody’s surprise the slide continued with sales off by 12% from the previous month. Facing some pretty stiff competition for the month of August the Cheverolet Camaro came in with over 10k in monthly sales while the Dodge Challenger stayed steady with 4,182 units sold.

Ford Mustang sales figures were released for the month of July and there’s good news and bad news with it. The good news, Mustang sales were up close to 14% from the previous year but month-to-month sales were down about the same percentage points.

Has the downturn finally hit Mustang sales as the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang awaits production. Meh might not be the right word but when the June Ford Mustang sales were revealed this is what came to mind. A shrug of the shoulders and a tightening of the lips as I look downward was my reaction and its not bad but its also not great. I was not expecting to be dazzled by some gaudy numbers as Mustang sales for June were off sharply from May numbers and its ok because the 2015 Mustang is lurking.
