Ford Motor Company and the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company will team up again to raise money to benefit JDRF by auctioning off the first retail 2015 Mustang GT at No Reserve. The auction will take place at the famous Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona on Saturday January 18, 2014.

Ford and BJ have a long history of auctioning off vehicles for charity and this one should be no different as the main focus is to raise money for JDRF,  the country’s leading global organization which funds type 1 diabetes research. Ford and Electronic Arts are teaming up to offer free in-game downloads of the all-new 2015 Mustang for one of the most popular racing games of all time. Need For Speed Rivals is the latest offering from EA and now players of the game will have the opportunity to choose from five fan-customized designs for their game car with four being the highest voted designs created on the popular Mustang Customizer site.

It appears the redesign of the all-new 2015 Mustang includes the 5.0 fender badge. Initial press photos show us a much skinnier 5.0 emblem than the previous 2011 Mustang 5.0 fender badge. Its clear as night and day if you look close, the new 5.0 badge is thinner and the numbers run into the red dot or point. For those of you living in a rural part of Montana with no internet, cable or phone service I am here to let you know Ford has unveiled the all-new redesigned 2015 Mustang. So far the only photos we have seen of the new Mustang show a Race Red, Ingot Silver and Magnetic Metallic model.

The 2015 Mustang will feature ten colors including Race Red, Triple Yellow, Competition Orange, Deep Impact Blue, Ruby Red, Black, Oxford White, Magnetic Metallic, Guard Metal and Ingot Silver. This past weekend a 2015 Mustang GT in race red made the trip out to a Cars & Coffee event in Irvine, California. Those in attendance were lucky enough to hear the exhaust note of the 2015 Mustang 5.0 engine.
