The all-new 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible

Debuting on the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang will be further enhancements to the already ingenious SYNC 911 Assist which is found in more than 7 million Ford vehicles. The SYNC 911 Assist allows the vehicle to connect to a local 911 operator if there has been an airbag deployment or fuel shut off. The system only works if a Bluetooth connected mobile phone is being used. The first retail 2015 Ford Mustang recently sold at Barrett-Jackson for $300K and the winner of the auction is noted Dallas-Fort Worth Ford dealer and collector Sam Pack. The 2015 Mustang GT coupe will make Dallas, Texas its new home as it will join some 265 other collectible vehicles at the Pack Automotive Museum.

Top speed increases for all 2015 Mustang models

In a recent interview with AutoEvolution at the Detroit Auto Show Ford Mustang chief engineer Dave Pericak opened up about the top speed of all three engine variants. The all-new 2015 Mustang will receive an across the board increase in top speed due to decrease in weight and revised engines.

The new 2.3-liter EcoBoost will be limited to a top speed of 121 mph but with the optional Track Pack added it will top out at 145 mph, just 10 mph less than the GT. … Continue Reading
